My family and I are in Cafe Luna at least once a week and have never been disappointed by anything, the food or service. I would say that is something that would deter most. Had chili and sea bass, flounder, pork chops, veal chops and chicken and veal piccata they were all deliciouse and served hot to perfection. There will be no third chance for them to disappoint us. Our selection of dishes range from classic and signature pizzas to seafood, pasta, steaks, and specialty entrees. Gave it a second chance, same opinion.
My husband started with eggplant rollatini followed by veal valentino for his main course. There are ample menu choices and specials. Menu has nice variety and definitely fresh. When it arrived there were 2 on the plate. Dined here quite a few times during that past 12 months and will definitely continue.
Ask your server for our flavor options! We particularly enjoyed baked calamari with bread crumbs. This was our first time here, recommended by a friend. I ordered the tri color salad for my appetizer and the grilled veal chop for dinner. I have passed by this restaurant during my weekly commute to work, and have never thought to try it, based on the outside sign looks cartoon like, and does not reflect the elegant interior or quality of food. When our waiter came to take our dessert order, I asked about my leftovers. Good for a nice lunch, too, at reasonable prices.
Add black beans, salsa and avocado 5. I kinda thought that was cheezy. The salad was fresh and crisp and the veal was the best I've had in a long time. Beautiful decor, nice ambiance, not too noisy. Join us under the stars in either of our two convenient dining locations, serving our authentic Sicilian Cuisine, delectable desserts and extensive wine list. We had a group of 7 and each ordered something different - pasta, fish, pork chop, chicken, pizza. The owner should spend a little less time blatantly kissing up to his regulars and a little more time welcoming new customers.
Served with salad or fruit. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant often! Food was exceptional and portions generous. Don't skip dessert, they're made in house, the bread pudding is to die for. Hot Specialties Jalapeno Mac and Cheese 12. We pride ourselves in serving the finest ingredients in every dish. Other waiters had to bring us our check while he stood at another table of 8 and gossiped about other waitresses and how he hates waiting on small tables who don't have a large tab.
Can't wait to go back. So glad we finally found a great Italian restaurant! Would have been better if there wasn't so much sauce. And when we skipped dessert because we were too full he literally forgot we existed. Even our mains were smothered in sauce. We ordered 3 desserts and 1 after-dinner drink; we had to ask for the after-dinner drink a 2nd time also.
The grilled shrimp is also one of my favorites. After ordering our second round of drinks, we had 2 ask for our drinks two more times because they were never brought. I am new to the area and actually found this restaurant online, but will be back for sure. We loved everything we ordered and they are very accommodating to your meal. We were going to have our rehearsal dinner in the front room, but now after this experience I think we will go elsewhere. Do they want to be an old fashioned family style Italian restaurant with the huge portions etc or do they want to be high end and serve normal portions and a literally a daily special not 3 or more.
All omelets can be made as wraps as a great change of pace from a traditional sandwich. This time it was just my fiance and me and the waiter Matt really had no time for a table for two. The service the entire night was awful too! Ed Barsamian, Shannon Radosti and their excellent staff take pride in their delicious cuisine and warm hospitality and will provide you with a fantastic Italian dining experience! One of the specials was a pork chop. Not happy the first time. Cafe Luna has an extensive pizza menu made in the classic Nepolitan style. Kombucha has been credited with everything from improving liver health and metabolism to preventing hangovers and slowing hair loss.
Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The seafood items are definitely a favorite with patrons. . We loved the Zucchini blossoms, bursting with cheese and delicately fried, and the imported buffalo mozzarella hit just the right notes of tangy and creamy. I booked and we figured we would get there at 7:30 have a drink at the bar and then be seated. It just melted in my mouth. The food was great and the portions are ample.
